Recession: Why President Buhari is approved by God - Prophetess

- Prophetess Mary Imabong Oyomire says there is no one who comes to the throne without God’s approval

- Oyomire notes that recession did not start under Buhari’s government and not even in this present generation

- The cleric says God is the Alpha and Omega and that if there is recession in the land, He knows the way out

Prophetess Mary Imabong Oyomire has said God wants Buhari to be president of Nigeria.

Prophetess Mary Imabong Oyomire has urged Nigerians to be patient with President Muhammadu Buhari because his mandate as leader of the country is God’s will.

Prophetess who recently arrived from the United States of America where she established God’s Mission known as Women Arise International Gospel Ministry, disclosed this in an interview with Leadership recently.

The cleric said that there is no one who comes to the throne without God’s approval, insisting that if Buhari is president, it means that God wants him to be there.

“Sometimes things don’t go the way humans think. We voted President Buhari and if he is there it means God wants him to be there. And sometimes things will get rough but I think we should just pray no matter what we see in the land.

“Recession did not start under Buhari’s government, not even in our generation. There was recession in bible times. Abraham experienced it and Isaac experienced it too and we the children of Abraham can’t be exempted, but we must pray. Let the leaders come together and truly ask God what way to go about this challenges. God has His plans from the beginning," she said.

Oyomire said God is the Alpha and Omega and that if there is recession in the land, He knows the way out.

She advised Nigerians to seek God’s intervention adding that it is God who enthrones leaders and that people will always have to go after the mind of God.

“Yes there is recession and hardship but God brought the president and certainly there is something He requires him to do. I think we should pray for God’s guidance and wisdom in seeking the way out,” the cleric said.

Similarly, Pastor William Kumuyi, the general superintendent of Deeper Life Bible Church has said the solution to Nigeria's problem will be given to President Buhari by God in 2017.

The General Superintendent of the Deeper Life Bible Church, Pastor William Kumuyi, on Sunday said that in 2017, God would grant President Muhammad Buhari the solution to the numerous challenges facing the country.

The popular Deeper Life head, said this while speaking with the press as he hosted the speaker, Lagos state House of Assembly, Mr Mudashiru Obasa and some other members of the Assembly at the church’s December Convention.
