It is an anomaly that someone gets married and after some months, a divorce results.

Friends! MARRIAGE  SHOULD STEM FROM FRIENDSHIP!!!
One should not marry who he/she doesn't know; who he/she hasn't aligned with; little wonder the ill stories of breakup/ divorce.

Also, money/wealth/affluence are so nice and wonderful, but can it stop being a major basis of today's marriage? A man must not be so wealthy to a fault before you accept him for marriage as a lady. It's even in marriage that fruitfulness and blossom can "spring forth'' because "...he that findeth a way, findeth a good thing and obtaineth favour from the Lord..''

Have you checked out other attributes like parental/childhood upbringing, family background, FRIENDS, education, exposures, mentality and general attitude towards life before venturing into that marriage???
It's high time we started seeing the potentials in one and aligning ourselves with individuals whose visions are geared towards ours or towards greatness.

One shouldn't just proceed for marriage just because someone somewhere referred the individual or tagged the individual as appropriate for a wife/husband material.
There should be a thorough background check. IT'S NOT A SIN TO DO SO.
Is there no need for continuous prayers and commitment to God in prayers before every form of acceptance is made? God still reveals mysteries to His people. "...And there is a Spirit in every man, and the inspiration of the  Almighty giveth him understanding...''

Summarily, every marriage should be yielded to Him because He's the perfect planner and unifier.
